Soooo, does this frat person use a red-tipped cane or a seeing-eye-dog? Obviously he has never seen RM or watched a game this year. Why would you antagonize someone who's job it is to HIT PEOPLE? Um just saying... Cool

I've seen Rick Moranis in person and he doesn't look at all intimidating. I could see how someone would think they could take him.

According to my sources, two drunk frat boys from the DTD fraternity encountered said football player between the Chi Phi house and Bryant Hall and one of the drunk frat boys called said player the "N word".

Said player then proceeded to do to the offending drunk fratboy what Godzilla did to Tokyo.

My take:
No charges are being filed because if the fratboy did indeed say what is being alleged, he may also be at fault as calling a black person the "N word" is an "actionable insult" in legal parlance. Not to mention filing charges would embarrass the drunk fratboy and his frat and incur the ire of the ENTIRE university community effectively ostracizing them.

Coach Saban, knowing the (good) character of this particular player, and knowing that he would not make up this story and having lived, played and worked with people of color all his life understands and will not suspend said player.

That being said, Coach will still probably counsel the player and indicate there are always alternatives the player can take in these situations.

I wish I knew jwray. I am in Atlanta and my sources in T-Town only know the football/player side of things and don't have access to any official police reports.

A newspaper imposing this type of censorship is fairly ironic in my opinion. Add to that the fact that no censorship is imposed regarding players on teams outside of Tuscaloosa and you have a full blown situation of poor journalistic integrity.

Look, I'm as protective of Alabama's players as anyone, I simply do not agree with a horrendous double standard like this.
