"Lakota West senior LB Jordan Hicks won’t be visiting Alabama this weekend, according to the Lakota West athletic department.

“He may reschedule for later in the year,” Lakota West sports information director Todd Hummer said.

Hicks told reporters Monday he was considering an official visit to Alabama this weekend. Hicks also told reporters he is considering an official visit to USC on Nov. 28.

Hicks is considering (no particular order) Texas, USC, Ohio State, Florida and Alabama."

I saw and talked to Phillip Sims this weekend at the UT game. He is 100% Bama and was decked out in Bama gear.

He is ready to contribute to the team and is a great guy. Can't wait for him to get here.

Great game this weekend. I actually went - my second game to go to in the last 10 years.

Good story - I went with 2 other friends. We could only find a pair of tickets and a single, couldn't get 3 together. We did paper-rock-scissors for the odd-man out, and I was it. So, I sat in the solo seat, BUT - Ticket was on the 45-yard line on the Tennessee side. I sat about 45 rows up, and literally across the aisle from McElroy's parents. Best seats I've ever had in BDS.

Incredible game - you guys can all thank me for carrying my new buckeye I found in the woods for good luck!!!

This thread is dead! Is it just because everybody's focused on the season?

I think as soon as K Allen commits the thread gets an instant Boost... Kind of like an Extra Strength 5 Hour Energy for recruiting interest.

"Two weeks ago, after Alabama beat us 36-0, we went back to being Alabama's little brother," the person wrote. "Now, with the hiring of Gene Chizik, we've become Alabama's little sister."

The thread is dead because I haven't put anything into it this year. It's been a hard year on me with losing my job in January. The minute I try getting up to speed on the board, I lose momentum. I am truly sorry for mot keeping up to my usual standards. Hopefully I can regain some of my lost clout here!

That said, here's how I think we finish:

QB, RB, TE - Done
OL - 2 more of Stone, Kouandjio, Robinson and Coleman.
WR - Done, but will take Chris Dunkley if we can get him.
DL - 1 more, Garrison Smith if he can be flipped, or Hubbard
LB - 1 more (Moseley) and would obviously take Luc or Hicks. L Owens a possible flip.
DB - 2 more - Fulton and Allen, possibly the JuCO Harris

So, here's my prediction to close:
OT - S. Coleman
OT - D. Robinson
DE/LB - A. Hubbard
LB - C. Moseley
DB - K. Allen
DB - J. Fulton

And, one of the following others:
LB - J. Luc
LB - J. Hicks
LB - L. Owens
WR - C. Dunkley
DT - G. Smith

That's all I got for now...
