Yesterday, he visited Auburn for the third time in recent weeks. This time, he took his father. They spent a lot of time talking with the coaches.
I'm thinking Corey Grant will wind up at the Barn. I know his dad is a Bama fan, but they ARE living in Opelika. Also, he may want to play RB at Auburn rather than slot receiver at Bama. I know some people are more worried about Florida, but he seems to be their third option at RB. Urban didn't even have a one-on-one visit with him when he visited Florida. ____________________________________________ Roll Tide. |

Yea I think its over. How many times can you visit some one place and not end up there and when was the last time he was up here.

He will announce for the barn in the coming weeks. AU has struck out on Lattimore, Seastrunk, and Dyer, so they land Grant.

I don't think Grant is the type of back that Saban would "feature". He's prolly aware of that

Bama isn't recruiting him to play RB. Bama is recruiting him to play slot reciever. ____________________________________________ Roll Tide. |

Based on my last conversation with him, I'd say Corey is more likely to go to Florida than Auburn.

Well, next time you talk to him, tell him to quit hanging out at the Barn. ____________________________________________ Roll Tide. |

Can't get them all gentlemen. I wouldn't worry about it. If he comes or doesn't, we will have another top 5 class. Maybe number 1 again.

I spoke to Corey for a few minutes at Prattville's 7on7 tournament on Tuesday. Corey and I have a pretty good relationship.
He told me he was really getting tired of the recruiting process and all the phone calls from people wondering when he will commit. I believe the decision comes down to Alabama and Auburn. I know he has visited Auburn several times in the last month. He has also visited Alabama. I do not think the factor of him playing running back in college is going to influence him. He told me to my face that he would prefer to play in the slot and make plays from the position. He did call me last week asking for one particular recruit's phone number. Which is keeping my mind open that Alabama is the leader. We'll see though. |

Keep up the good work. |

What makes you think Seastrunk and Lattimore have ruled out AU? THought Seastrunk was commited solid and Lattimore was a heavy lean. ![]() |

Neither is true. Lache has not committed.. at least not publicly. Lattimore is not a "heavy" lean.. he may be leaning towards AU.. but its not a done deal. |

correct, about $ea$trunk, who some barners feel he has 'cooled' on them, he may be thier best bet to land but its not as certain as most barners think. Lattimore will not and I repeat will not choose the Barn. If Dyer waits until NSD or during the season, he's a hawg. Grant to Bama. The Barn swings and misses on all 4 IMO. |

Good stuff from Andrew. I don't believe Grant ends up at the Barn. I believe they are his third choice.

Same here. I hope he comes to Bama. I like having that kind of speed on the table. |
