Mine was the last Bama - Barn Home game, The one for the thumb. I ended up sitting with my parents in their upper deck seats and we were surrounded by Barn fans. I was mad because Bama fans sold their tickets to barners. They were the most classless obnoxious fans I a have ever been around.

To start with there was a moment of silence to honor Davidson's GF the trainer that was killed in the accident and the barn fans behind me started playing music on their cell phones and screaming and causing a ruckus. Then, when Prothro brought out the ball they startes laughing and making fun of the poor guy who waw obviously struggling. THey were constanly making derrougatory comments about our players, coaches, fans. IT was awful. Needless to say My dad, Brother, and I almost got in a fight with the people behind us.

It was so bad my mother was starting to get mad and If you know my mother she is one of the kindest understanding ladies you will ever meet. She said she would never go back to another Iron Bowl.

Next time it happens, just turn around and backhand the one that's most obnoxious. He will probably cry and walk away. That's what I'm going to do in Baton Rouge if they get out of hand behind me.

Maybe in your dreams.

You try that mess down there the only thing that will beat you to the hospital is the headlights of the ambulance you're riding in.

Mine was the 2006 Bama/Auburn Game and it was unfortunately with other Alabama fans. Yes, we lost; and yes the outcome frankly sucked, but I thought it was a good game. We weren't stomped into the ground like people expected us to be. After the game, some fans behind us heard me saying to my husband that it was a good game, I just wish the ending had been better. They start cussing me and my husband, bashing us and calling us "Shula lovers" which was weird becuase I hadn't said anything about Shula at all, and then four of them went after my husband like they were going to beat him up or something. I told them to shut the hell up. It was a good game; no one got hurt, our guys played hard, just not hard enough. When they went after my husband, I threw my stuff down and went after them - ready to grab a couple of handfulls of balls. I don't play nice. Anyway, the whole thing ended up with those a**holes telling us they hoped we died in a fiery car crash on the way home. I couldn't believe Alabama fans would act that way towards other Alabama fans. I was appalled. My response was, "Ok, have a nice trip. See you next season, a**hole." Left a bad taste in my mouth for a very very long time and I refused to talk Alabama football with Alabama fans for a very long time after that. For the first time I realized why fans of other schools think we have the worst fans.

So, that's my worst experience.

2001 Bama/LSU game Rohan Davey threw for like 1200 yards and we lost 35-21. After the game an LSU girl kept nagging and nagging saying Ha Ha we won, you suck. So some friends and I just said good luck but she kept on. I finally got nasty with her and she had about 3 or 4 guys behind her that was with her. She was trying to set up a fight with her boys behind her. Straight up white trash! They wound up running off.

My worst experience came in a very lopsided win against Auburn in 1977.

Being berated by Auburn fans as we were beating them 48-21 in 1977 because the #1 rated team also won that day and that kept us at #2 in the nation. The Aubies went wild when they realized in the fourth quarter that we wouldn't be #1 for the next week. It didn't matter that they couldn't beat us, it only mattered that Alabama would spend another week as the second ranked team in the country. Auburn wasn't even on the national radar. The absolute hatred and envy was truly disgusting.

We were in the process of running them out of the stadium and they were only concerned that we wouldn't be number one. I can assure you that Alabama fans wouldn't be worried about that if Auburn had us by 27 points in the fourth quarter.

It changed me forever as an Alabama football fan. I never pulled against Auburn except when Alabama played them. It was always more meaningful to beat a good Auburn team. I liked seeing them come in with a good team and watching Alabama beat them. After that day at Legion Field, I couldn't be indifferent about Auburn's other games again.

RTR!!!
