The creativity and passion here is amazing. Someone last night referred to this as movie-like. I agree, its entertaining.

I don't understand what the hell ya'll are saying. (I got the proxy site thing from earlier, though.)

The Aggies were down 80% to 20% before they started going high tech to take the lead. What ever you are doing has them scratching their heads and gnashing their tooth on the Aggie boards. Make us proud.

Well guys...the secret is out. An aggie fan just posted this thread on the ESPN comment page of this helmet clash. He admitted to the use of the Firefox macro, but did say it wasn't as fast as this program.

Good work guys. Whether we win or not, this has been fun to watch from work! Cool

a little crimson ingenuity can go a long way. Hopefully those that can use this program will. We also need to make sure that TAMU doesn't use it for themselves.

They've put out a call to programmers on the Aggies site asking for someone to create something to compete with Ringtoss's program. Great Job.

The Aggies site said something about reverse engineering it. Even if they come up with something, they will need to have more people running one than Bama has, right?

That's correct. Technically speaking, they could maybe fine tune some things to get more votes within a second (i.e. 2 votes per second), but that starts getting into code efficiency stuff and that's easier said than done and typically takes longer than a day to figure out. The only way is for them to simply have more "instances" of that executable running.

If too many people use this, it could be a problem. For one thing, ESPN may decide to invalidate votes, or reset the vote entirely. Also, the more people that use this, the higher the load will be on ESPN servers. I do not want to bring their site down. That could potentially be bad for me.
