As you may or may not know, we are currently getting hammered by the Texas A&M fans in ESPN's helmet clash.
I have spent the last several hours writing a very simple Windows program that interacts directly with ESPN's website, and submits votes for the Bama helmet as fast as your Internet connection will allow. It is very bare-bones for now. Hopefully, if the program is successful, I might spend some time in the future making it more robust.
Please, if you try it, let me and others know if it works for you. It will require that you have the .NET framework installed on your computer, and, needless to say, it will only work on Windows. Please post any feedback/questions here.

Technically yes. The program could be reverse-engineered and then modified to vote for the Ags. However, a person with the know-how to do that would almost certainly find it easier to write their own program from scratch. It's really not that complex.

No. Bama is represented on the voting page by a unique number. It's position on the page is irrelevent. The program just uses that number to cast the vote.

Thank you, and everyone else who has tried this out. I am happy about the positive response this has received. I believe I will spend some time making the program a little more professional looking.

Originally posted by Mr. Brightside: If you have windows vista, can you do this in multiple windows? Also, there is not a number in the window that says "vote count" is something wrong?
It's probably not working for you. There should be a counter there that increments every time a vote is cast. Unfortunately I don't have Vista, so I can't compile it for that OS.
