I would say that is quite enough from one recruiting class to actually help out a team. Cool

That makes 11 players that made significant contributions. Others transferred and saw success at Tulane, Florida, and Oregon.

You have a strange sense of significant contributions. Lester Ricard transfered to Tulane and played against LSU.

Like I said most of those guys besides the few like Kyle williams ( a guy that would have crawled to play at LSU regardless of the who the coach was) were basically busts.

And transfers to other schools means attitude problems, grade problems, or lack of development while at LSU, all squarely on the shoulders of the guy that recruited them.

How do you count that wound up quitting & transferring to another school as a plus on the recruiting side?

Amazing...

Tigger, the only one I placed a link for that transferred was Ricard because he was pretty good and went on to the NFL.

Real nice how you conveniently ignore the other 11 players.

What the hel7 does is have to do with anything that a player would have come there anyway?? Like Alabama does not have players that will come there regardless as well? But Saban will add other key players. Read the list instead of just looking for something stupid like Lester and acting like that explains away Skyler Green and Justin Vincent and Terrell McGill and Brian Johnson and Peter Dyakowski and Ryan Willis and Paris Hodges and Cameron Vaughn. Razzer

I've acknowledged every time the tigers that and you continue to ignore the players Saban recruited that were busts.

It has everything to do with it because of the high talent level in this state that will choose to go here pretty much regardless of who the coach, same way Saban inherited a plenty talented team when he got here.

His recruiting prowess shows dozens of flat out bust that he brought to campus.

You pick out a guys that were coming here (like Justin Vincent) no matter who was coaching and act like Nick just found all these diamonds in the rough that ere being overlooked if he hadn't showed up. Flat out silly.

So based on his own history don't bank on Saban being all that master a recruiter, let alone talent developer.
