To think that the police are a great group out for the common good is the more ignorant thought. There's a reason that such a huge number of people no longer trust them for anything. To protect and serve......What a joke! I would love for ALL of them, everywhere, to spend more time with their family! Let's save some tax dollars by cutting the forces down to cover the major issues other than hiding to try to lure someone into another ticket to raise money for a city, and yes, college, town cops are terrible! They are always looking for a way to punish a college student financially.
If this is your true belief, you have some serious issues. Maybe you should do a few ride-alongs, conduct a little true research, complete a police academy, etc, before making such ridiculous claims.
1. I have serious issues?? Are you kidding? Where should I do this "true" research? How about the video that I posted in the past couple of weeks of a cop beating the hell out of a woman because she didn't do exactly what he said to do when he said to do it? How about the cop that arrested Johnson? Do you think that he was doing a great job? Go to College Station to a football game and see how long it takes for those officers to give you a ticket for PI even if you've only had a couple of drinks. Go to the Houston rodeo, get pulled over when leaving for anything, and refuse a breath test so that you can visit the various DAs that are set up in trailers in the area to convict you on the spot! Granted, these are only things in Texas, or things that I have seen on the Internet, but to state that I have issues because of my statements is absurd! To say that these cops are not out to make money for the city is also absurd! These are just a few of the things that I have learned about in the last month!
2. There are policies and procedures to follow during any time of the day, or night. If they are unable to follow these policies, then they need to find other employment.
3. What in the hell does completing a police academy have to do with anything? Everyone has their own agenda! I don't care what police training they went through, and cops are out to prove a point more than anyone that I could possibly think of at the moment.
To state that my claims are ridiculous means that you have not experienced, or listened to friends that have experienced such treatment, which is fortunate for you and yours; however, do not dismiss my claims as being ridiculous because I tend to agree with the masses that no longer trust the "law".
