I am just not sold on Va Tech relative to how they will compete against any TOP SEC team and I really beleive they will be destroyed just like Clemson was.

I wonder if I could think different but I really think about a SEC beatdown on the ACC day one of the season,,,, Beamer will regroup his team but will realize the SEC is just several notches up,,, especially Alabama

This is going to be a battle. Utah treated Bama like it was the biggest game in their school's history. I expect no different from Virginia Tech. We had better buckle our chin straps.

We have an advantage Saban can buckle his chin straps but Beamer has a hard time. His throat is too fat for straps.

Thanks very much for posting this. I knew the story, but it is always good to let others learn it too, before they make an *** of themself. Unfortunately, you were about 2 hours too late in this case.....

There should be no doubt that VT will be ready for this game. Bama will need to bring it's A game for this.

Just because Bama beat Clemson last year has no bearing on this game. I can assure you Saban is preaching just that.

I fully believe that if Bama comes to play, they should win, but we all saw what a pumped up team (Utah) can do.

Winning it will put them in the BCS title game conversation, assuming they and Bama take care of business otherwise. A loss will most likely knock them out of it. This game is HUGE for them. They will come well prepared and will leave it all on the field. Bama better do the same.
