For those not privy to our latest mission, please take a moment to listen. We are asking for your participation in a movement that not only pays homage to our past, but is so simple in nature that everyone, from every nook of life, can partake. We are asking you to help us Bring Back the 5.
For information behind the proposed revolution, here are some historical documents related to the movement. BBT5. Embrace it.
I encourage everyone to capture any effort at BBT5. Camera phone, video, digital camera... snapshots... anything. BBT5 with your kid, your wife, your mailman, your FedEx guy... YOUR BOSS ... UA athletes especially. BBT5.
You can email me photos and vids to chris.rattey@tuscaloosanews.com.
Come Monday, I'll have a page set up with a full video upload form to send in videos.
I've been down with it for the last 5 years and didn't even realize the good I was doing. Passing the 5 along to my brewd has been a very life changing experience. To see the look the 5 brings to a child's face can be quite emotional and eye opening when you realize the joy that you are spreading for future generations. Rest assured that the 5 is alive in my household and will be as long as I am able bodied and lucent in thought.
If we are going to BBT5, we really need to be able to download your bumper music as a ringtone; especially the end clip that whispers "bring back the five".
PanaBama... what an excellent suggestion. We will work on that.
chad, I will do my best to help you understand. I realize that it's been a long time since the 5 was in your daily routine, and in fact ... out of the gate it can be a bit awkward (especially the return 5... it can get very ugly). But you're reading too much into it, which is the whole point of BBT5.
It's all about simplicity. It's about knocking down barriers of complication so we can all turn to the same page and read together in harmony. If you break down those walls, and get to the root of BBT5, you'll see it's not so scary after all.
