All the prices I have seen, whether on StubHub, craigslist, and even the ticket forum here are absolutely F****** ridiculious.

Which leads me to the topic of discussion... are the LSU v Alabama tickets the most expensive tickets in BDS' history? I am obviously going to say YES here... the cheapest tix I have seen are for $200 or student tix for $150 that you have to pay $50 to convert (so $200 total)

***I am talking about the most expensive in terms of average ticket price or just cheapest ticket prices seen (nosebleed seats). Also refering to market price and not face value.

I think the Iron Bowl last year was similarly priced. LSU tickets were like 140/ea last week but have shot up as desperate people are opening their wallets. I refuse to pay more than $150 for a decent seat, so I'll probably be watching from the Houndstooth with many, many double Makers Mark and cokes.

Makes sense... maybe I waited too late to start looking. I paid $180 for the VT game and thought that was beyond crazy.

I had a buddy call me on his way to ATL a few hours before the game... said he had a ticket for me for $100. Talk about lucky! I had another friend tell me last night she had a friend who had 4 for $100 each... I said I'd take em, she called to get them for me and they had just sold.

I paid $500 a pair 2 years ago for Bama/LSU.

Yeh I had someone offer me $600 for a pair two years ago.

that ALMOST makes me want to sell the tide pride tix i have lol

I sit in the Zone. But, if anyone were to offer me those kinds of prices for my tickets, I'd be watching the game from my own Zone - my living room.

we paid 250 a piece for clemson - bama. i sold my hotel suite to a group of Fla fans at them embassy suites for 500.00 for one nite. So people will pay it.

I got my oklahoma ticket a few years ago for 75 bucks, man that was fun.

Last year at the Sugar Bowl, I must admit that I opted for the TV - 42-inch 1080p Vizio.

In hindsight, it was the right call.

I agree. I love being at the games and love the atmosphere, but there are only so many dollars once the bills are paid, and HD looks SOOOOOOOO good.

it's all what you are willing to pay. i paid a ton for 2 tickets to the UT game, but was paid for from a load of unexpected money coming my way, and a friend came all the way from PA, so I wanted to make sure we had good tix in hand.
