A fair judge would order New Mexico and Locksley to pay this loser 500 dollars in damages for his poor lip. Then the judge should fine the whole coaching staff 20,000 each for being 0 and 8 losers including the the loser who got punched. Case closed.

I firmly believe New Mexico State is involved in a cover-up. They need to cut their losses, NOW! This coach, besides being a maniac, is a loser of a HC. I think they fire him after this year. This is a no-win situation and the college is leaving themselves wide open if this crazy man attacks anyone else.

If the 500,000 offer had included a clause to remain silent as well as release UNM from any claims, I can almost guarantee they would have accepted.

That offer was only to remain silent in the media.

A good lawyer may be able to get the coach a good sum of money, not for the damage to his lip, but for future lost earnings if he can convince a jury that this ordeal through no fault of his own will render him almost unable to get another job in the NCAA.

You get a lot more money if you call it a "hostile work environment."

New Mexico State is in some deep sheep over this crazy HC. They better start counting their money they will have to pay out.
