Guru, I warned you about these imposters. Most of which are accountable for the demise of Bama mag and BOL. The mods couldn't keep letting them run rough-shod over the whole board.BOL even changed so they had to pay to post. This is the only site these people are even allowed to talk.... that's why they love it. They will not stop, you have to stop them.I know it is open and you want differing opinions but allowing them to post the same negative crap on EVERY thread all the time is shutting up those who oppose them. They are running(ruining) this board. They change every topic to fire Mike. The regulars are trying to hang in but they are being run over, their voice is the one being oppressed.You WILL make some changes , just as Mike will. I just hope you don't let THEM destroy a good forum.

Interesting that you can't stand open and fair discussion.
You can't refute honest Alabama fans upset with the direction of the program, so you call for bannings.
If you like the pravda-style forums and information from the BOL and Bama Mag people then why not just post there where you are safe from all the mean people with different opinions?
Pawpaw, hipocrisy is a very bad thing. I used to be all for Shula as well but things change and peoples opinions change with time. Get used to it. I have been on this site a long time before my May 31st sign up day says as I was here when they had a REAL imposter in BamaJimBob ! I support Bama and their players and coaches ..until they lose the right to be supported which can be done. Its my right as well as others to decide when we have had enough. You and some others obviously havent had enough of Shula but thats your right but its our right to say we have had our fill umtil he earns his way back. One 31-3 win does not give him a free pass for two years. I have been way on the side your on but I also know when to stand up and say enough is enough when I see Alabama suffering. Hell,BamaGuru even had to get on me for jumping on those that criticized too much...so I been there myself but this is a entirely different situation in which I'm not on the "apologists" side. I am no fake and have been on this board longer than you but I say Shula is the wrong guy ...so ban me for that opinion ? Even though I been here longer than you technically... I just have a different opinion plain and simple ! RTR

Oh thank goodness Guru. For a minute there I thought we were going to bow down to the demands of a deranged man. This is a great forum because it allows all Bama fans to post their honest opinions. Thanks for keeping it great.
Banning people and censorship, Hmm... sounds a lot like Germany under Hitler and the Gestapo!
The simplest thing for anyone to do, is to ignore a poster or don't let the written words of someone else get you so fired up. Unless they make a direct threat, or use profanity then no changes need to be made. Censorship in any form is bad for all.
I disagree kev. I regularly defuse blow-ups by deleting squabbles that turn personal. I'm not above banning the occasional user who refuses to learn to play nice.
Every community needs a policeman. Just hope you don't get one with an agenda other than the success of the community.

That post was not directed at anyone in particular. My post was actually trying to bring a little humor to the orginial post. Maybe I should of thought it through more. No one should be compared to the Gestapo under any normal circumstances.
Like I said all censorship is bad, but some circumstances dictate action. Your job doesn't go unnoticed. I think all posters appreciate the job the moderators do (whether they will admit it or not). I know myself as a new poster, but a long time reader of the forums, appreciates when a moderator step in and diffuses a potential problem.

Lansav, BamaRedemption, Savdon and maybe a few others names; isn't it about time for you to offer an apology to ole BamaJimBob? Seems, according to you at least, he was right all along! I remember rants and threats and calls for banisments on your part, directed at BJB for the same things you are doing now. (G) Things always seem to move in a circle don't they. On another board (BamaMag), the same character who was BJB on our old board is now a Shula backer(ravenflyer)! Life is funny ain't it..........
