It's time to vote for the final offense position, kicker. It's a short list, but it's a position that's remembered for a long time.

To me this is a no brainer...Tiffin and Doyle.

Michael Proctor and Phillip Doyle.

Are you guys seriously putting Tiffin above these two? Doyle and Proctor are 1, 2 for practically all kicking records at UA -- FGs in a game, FG in a season, career FGs, points in a game, points in a season, points in a career.

Tiffin's only records are distance -- 57 yards and PATs.

Doyle's FG accuracy = 74%; Proctor = 71%, Tiffin Sr = 67%.

Plus Proctor was a two time All American, Doyle and Tiffin only had one each.

I loved Tiffin and I even think Leigh will do okay this year, but neither were terribly accurate kickers and we've had two of the best in Doyle and Proctor that deserve higher consideration.

doyle is #1. the man was automatic. tiffin is remembered for one kick. granted it was a big one and I was at that game but doyle was consistent throughout his career.

Van Tiffen gets my vote because of that huge kick - under extreme pressure. That stands out more than anything any other kicker did.

If you're only interested in game winning kicks, why not Christensen (3, Texas Tech, UT, OleMiss)?

Doyle beat UT as time expired in '90; Proctor beat UGA in '94 with just over a min left...

Just b/c it was a memorable game against a top rival, doesn't make him the best...

Brian Bostick was actually a better kicker than Peter Kim...

They are all outstanding.I went with VT simply for what has already been stated. There is a huge amount of pressure on a kicker, when you are controlling destiny, of the entire team, with your foot. I liked Peter Kim second, as he was automatic too, I thought.
