my best guess is that this is being kept under wraps the same way that JPW's DUI wasn't reported until a few days after. Additionally, the folks from the Tuscaloosa News aren't stupid, football arrests typically aren't made public at major universities until a few days later. I've been asking around in T-Town about this ordeal, and this "rumor" definitely has legs. So it would be very adult-like to limit the posts saying "shut up barner." the sky is not falling.

If this was true, ESPN would not hold back. This would be all over their site by now.

well, maybe the guy is "running off" because today is sunday and he may not be working today. in other words, he's not spending hour upon hour on the site. he may have simply signed up on here to ask this particular question. who cares??? as a LIFE LONG alabama fan and current UA student, I can say that we are the most uptight, paranoid fans i've ever seen. i highly doubt auburn fans would want to start a rumor about a backup DL and a running back with 45 career rushing yards. JMO.
