George Teague, Sam Shade, Willie Gaston, Cedric Samuel...all played safety at some point in their Tide career and none are on this list??

Kevin Jackson was good, but as JUCO transfer he only started for two seasons.

For me, Wilcox is a no-brainer. I went with Kevin Jackson as the other one just to get a "new school" player in the mix. Not familiar enough with the much older guys.

Sorry Rashad, nothing personal.

I went with Harper and Jackson, but Wilcox made some great plays in his day. I just think the list is too limited. Clearly, George Teague should be on the list even though he played corner part of his career.

Tommy Wilcox definitely #1, Roman Harper #2.

Wilcox and Dixon. Tough choices. Prob the most even group to choose from of all the polls we've been doing.

My picks, as well. For me, this position was the toughest one in which to pick the best.

Teague was not listed at corner, and now isn't listed as a safety. That's just flat wrong. The guy was an all-american, a first round draft pick, and made one of the greatest plays in all of football history, much less 'bama history (plus he is just a nice guy). How can he not even be listed as an option for one of the spots. The ball's really been dropped on all the DB spots.

Wilcox #1 Johnson # 2.

For those that didn't have the privilage of watching Tommy Wilcox play you really missed a treat. Wilcox was a head hunter who punished opposing players.

I wonder how many times Bear said Bingo to one of Wilcox's hits?
